Bisan Center for Research and Development has completed its project to protect vulnerable communities in the West Bank. The project focused on equipping residents of several villages in the Nablus and Ramallah/al-Bireh governorates with skills and providing them with equipment to protect themselves from settler attacks.

The project targeted six villages: Madama, Burin, and Asira al-Qibliya in the Nablus governorate, and Turmus Ayya, Abu Falah, and al-Mughayyir in the Ramallah/al-Bireh governorate. It comprised several phases, the final phase of which involved providing these villages with protective equipment, including fencing, fire extinguishers, cameras, and an audible alarm system, to alert residents and protect them from settler attacks.

It is worth noting that the project included two previous phases implemented in the targeted villages: first aid training and training on documenting violations through social media.
